A brilliant CAD model is only the first half of the equation. When an engineering team designs a complex mechanical assembly or a massive structural framework, someone has to step into the gap between the digital render and the physical world. My job is to honor that design on the shop floor—managing the thermal distortion of heavy steel, hitting strict tolerances, and turning advanced math into field-tested reality.

My expertise wasn't built in a classroom or on a repetitive production line. It was earned the hard way over 15 years, bouncing between the most extreme environments this industry has to offer. I started by trading shop labor for welding time at The Crucible in Oakland, relentlessly teaching myself the trade. From there, I sought out the most demanding fabrication floors in the Bay Area. I apprenticed under aerospace-certified mentors building custom automotive roll cages, executed heavy architectural steel for 522 Industries, and served as the lead metal fabricator making architectural and structural components for massive, high-end custom builds at O2 Treehouse.

I know what it takes to execute at the highest level of industrial precision. I’ve fabricated extreme-tolerance components for the particle accelerator at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and built a massive structural steel sculpture for the Google Bay View campus. In this tier of fabrication, I learned exactly how unforgiving heavy engineering can be—a hard-won lesson that permanently forged my zero-defect approach to every single build.

I also know how to keep complex builds alive when everything goes wrong. Whether I am dialing in heavy off-road suspension, or keeping massive kinetic art cars running under intense pressure in the dust of the Black Rock Desert, I have learned how to problem-solve when a shop isn't an option.

Today, I operate Iron Nomad out of Napa, California. I built this shop to be the ultimate asset for enterprise tech teams, prime contractors, structural engineers, and heavy industrial operators.
